The Agritourism Cà del Vento is a family-run business in Berceto (Parma) established in 1981. Today, it is the third generation of the Agnetti family that guides all the activities of the structure, the Equestrian Club and the Farm. Discover our story of passion for horses and commitment to promoting the Tuscan-Emilian territory.

The history of Cà del Vento begins with a return: that of Enzo and Gloria to their hometown. After a long stay in Iran, which lasted five years, Gloria returned to Italy with her children in 1978; a few years later, Enzo also returned.

Horses have always been the Agnetti family's passion: at that time, it was Enzo's father who bred them for personal pleasure. The couple, having recently returned to Italy, decided to seize the opportunity and buy the Cà del Vento small farm, to start a new stage and build something with what Enzo was most passionate about.

Thus began the story of Cà del Vento: while Enzo took care of the breeding - initially of Apennines and then of Anglo-Arabian horses -, Gloria looked after everything concerning the structure. In 1995, in fact, the Agritourism Cà del Vento was born: officially the first agritourism in Berceto.

Over the years, the children Arianna and Giacomo also contributed to the restoration of the small farm. In the meantime, Enzo's commitment to breeding brings the first results: in 2003, the horse Ècart from Cà del Vento competes in the national team in the World Endurance Championship with the jockey Ronnie Schiaretti. That year, the team won the gold medal.

In 2008, Enzo Agnetti qualifies as a FISE Level III Equitation Technician: the highest qualification for equestrian sports instructors. While the breeding part is taken care of by the latter, Gloria, Arianna and Giacomo take care of everything concerning rooms and the restaurant.

Together, Gloria and Giacomo look after the décor of the structure, taking care of every detail in the rooms and common areas. Gloria's paintings decorating the walls of the facility give Cà del Vento an eccentric and unique soul.

Arianna, on the other hand, soon becomes passionate about customer care and, later, restaurant service. Over the years, she develops her personal method of welcoming customers: a trait that still distinguishes Cà del Vento today for its domestic atmosphere and attention to guests. In fact, Arianna officially marks the beginning of the second Agnetti generation at Cà del Vento and is the current hostess. When you come to Cà del Vento, she is the one to welcome you and guide you in booking rooms and various activities.

Elena, Arianna's daughter, is currently one of the instructors at Cà del Vento, together with Pietro. Both were initiated into horseback riding thanks to Enzo Agnetti: in fact, from a very young age, Elena has always lived surrounded by her grandfather's horses, who passed on his passion for equestrian disciplines to her. Pietro, on the other hand, was his pupil: Enzo trained him and accompanied him in various competitions.

In 2020, Elena and Pietro completed their training and officially started working as instructors at the Equestrian Club Cà del Vento. They both obtained the qualifications of:

• FITETREC Equestrian Tourism Companion
• Level I FISE Instructor
• Level I FITETREC Instructor

Both Elena and Pietro take part in regional and national work riding competitions - on a professional level - every year, bringing with them the students of the Equestrian Club. The two instructors represent the third generation of the Agnetti family and are the beating heart of the Equestrian Club Cà del Vento.
